The Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan has created several records and opened a new market for Mollywood in rest of India and Outside India. Pulimurugan also won a slew of awards including the Asiavision Awards for Popular Movie, Popular Actor of the Year, Best Music Director, Best Cinematography and Best Singer – Female and the Asianet Film Awards under various categories. Pulimurugan 3D Tamil Gets a Release date After the record breaking collection from Malayalam, now the Tamil version of Pulimurugan is ready to release. The film was a grand success at the box office and was the first Malayalam film to gross Rs. The score and soundtrack were set to tune by Gopi Sunder, and cinematography was done by Shaji Kumar. Thomas duo penned the screenplay independently and the film was bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakuppadam under the banner Mulakuppadam Films. The 2D and 3D version of Pulimurugan will be released in a record number of 300 screens across the state of Tamil Nadu making it the widest release for a dubbed movie in the state. It has been reported that Mohanlal has himself dubbed for his portions in the film. Udayakrishna of the Udayakrishna - Siby K. And now Pulimurugan’s 3D version is all set to hit cinema screens in Tamil Nadu on June 16 i.e. Pulimurugan, which went on to become a blockbuster, was directed by Vysakh, and had Mohanlal in the titular role, with Kamalini Mukherjee, Jagapati Babu, Lal, Vinu Mohan, and Bala in the star cast. The star also remarked that he has been trying to get in touch with director Siddique but that he couldn't reach him. Salman added that he got to watch Pulimurugan recently and is keen on starring in the remake. The interaction with the media took place in Dubai where the star is present currently to promote his upcoming film Tubelight.
